Almont Resort participates in the “Gunnison-Get-Away” program that offers discount lift tickets combined with lodging. This program is available for properties that are down valley from Crested Butte Ski Resort and we are the closest one. By staying here lift tickets are $25 to $55 depending on the season. We also have free local bus service that provides door to door service to Crested Butte Ski Resort. Lodging and lift ticket packages are also available for Monarch Ski Resort.

Almont Resort is located at 8,026 feet in the heart of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado between Gunnison & Crested Butte. The East & Taylor Rivers meet outside our cabin doors to form the headwaters of the mighty Gunnison River.

Our historic lodge and cabins were built at the turn of the century and have been recently remodeled to provide you with comfortable amenities. The main lodge has a full service restaurant, lounge, fly shop and our check-in desk.

Most of our 15 cabins and 4 vacation homes are riverfront or very close to the water. We accommodate couples, families, corporate retreats and other larger groups.

Activities that start here on our 90 acre property include fishing, horseback riding, rafting and wildlife viewing. Other things to do are very close by: downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, mountain biking, rock climbing, snowmobiling and ice fishing just to name a few.
